After decades of directing a thriving, high-volume ballet academy, Director Aerin Holt is intentionally channeling her expertise into an exclusive, highly tailored, ballet-focused training model. Her mission is to pass forward her unique methodology through deeply focused private coaching and signature small-group ensembles — from a child's very first PreBallet class through pre-professional training. By walking away from the mass-production "dance factory" model, Aerin provides every dancer, at every level, with an unprecedented density of master-teacher feedback, accelerating technical precision and personal growth in a dedicated conservatory environment.

California DanceArts has been La Canada Flintridge's ballet school since 1987, and is proud to be part of California Contemporary Ballet, a nonprofit dance company.

OUR COMPANY

California Contemporary Ballet (CCB), is the resident company at California DanceArts.

CCBallet is one of Southern California’s burgeoning dance companies featuring a unique choreographic blend of classical, contemporary and theatrical dance works. The professional company consists of athletic ballet & contemporary dancers, modern dancers, gymnasts and aerialists who deliver powerful, emotional performances.

California Contemporary Ballet seeks to increase dance awareness and endow our artists with opportunities to engage our audiences in the creativity, imagination and joy of dance.

In an effort to encourage young dancers as they pursue a career in dance, CCBallet continues to establish a youth division within its organization. Combined with the performance opportunities, rehearsals and experience that is provided by CCYBallet, it closely replicates a professional dance company experience.
